Dominican born, Aruban raised artist, based in Amsterdam. In my work, I explore Caribeaness, drawing from my memories and experiences in the two islands. I often do so through the genre of anime and mangas.
Once I moved to Amsterdam, I was drawn to fashion as a potential medium towards sustainability. Since my fashion school days, I’ve sought to repurpose and give new life to textiles and garments--for me tools of artistic expression.
Above all else, I love telling stories, and so I maintain an experimental approach, working with different mediums, genres and styles.
